Hello my name is Elani and I am the fashion designer behind the brand Calista Hazel. I am a Manitoba-born, British Columbia-based artist and designer who is heavily influenced by the places I have traveled to, nature, and my time spent with family and friends. I have graduated from Pacific Design Academy’s fashion design program. Launching my prom and evening wear line is a dream come true for the little girl who spent hours with sketchbook and pencils in hand, drawing dresses and designs that she didn’t know one day she would create! In my free time, I love writing poetry, sketching, and meeting and connecting with new people.
My devotion and love of nature has always inspired my creations, from writing and painting, to fashion design. Working and connecting with others is one of my favourite things and combining my love of fashion and connecting with people is my main goal. My designs aim to inspire, uplift and make you feel like the enchanting, gorgeous person you are. I aim to design evening wear that feels unique and allows each person to express their individuality through my designs. I make tailored outfits that give people the confidence of a model and the captivating charm of a fairytale character.
